Describe something you will never fully understand.

 Prompt Response: I can never fully understand why couples have children even though they are not in a great financial state or why have children when you won't show them love. Some couples live in a very harsh and poor environment yet, they still have multiple children. The children grow up in poverty or maybe they are neglected by their parents or get involved in bad situations just to survive. Some parents treat their children as if it was their fault they have many problems and sometimes take their anger out on them or they don't take responsibility. I also don't understand how anyone hits a baby/ small kids just because they are angry. Many children live this way and they never get to know what love is and some turn out the same because that's what they grew up with. It's truly a sad thing for many people who don't get to experience true motherly or fatherly love. 


Summary: Today we presented our Origin Myth Poster.

Reflection: I realize that everyones troubles or struggles are different. Mine may not be the worst, but they still affect me.

  Prompt Response: The conversation that change me was a conversation about a growth mindset. In one of my classes, I met a new guy in my life and we gradually became friends. One of our conversations was about his goals and plans in life. I listened while he was passionately talking about how he was going to join the army for mere personal achievement, and what career he was going to take after finishing his military service. I had never met someone who had a personal growth mindset, so it inspired me to apply that mindset to not be ¨ wasted potential ¨. He emphasized how everyone has the potential given by God to become something in life and that there are opportunities for everyone to find. Prompt Response:  The chapter that stood out to me was chapter 6. In chapter 6, McCandless met Franz who was a like father figure to him. This chapter is interesting to me because it shows how McCandless was a charismatic person that was able to make meaningful, brief relationships along his journey. This is also the first time that McCandless had someone who cared deeply for him and taught him.  Summary: Today we took a test for chapter 1-10 Reflection:  I finished the test

If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.

Prompt Response:  I would choose gifts, kind notes, and camera to show my love for the people I care about. I love making gifts for others and finding things that make me remember them. I also like writing nice things about them to remind them how special they are to me and because I tend to be shy to say it out aloud. Finally, I would choose a camera to take pictures of them and remember the happy memories. I feel these objects show how I tend to show my love through mostly small actions that make the other person feel special to me and show how considerate and thoughtful I am.  Summary: Today we wrote a poem to someone we care and love about. Reflection:   I finished my poem.
