Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

When I was about 5 years old, my cousins and I used to play around this one specific tree that wasn't far away from the main house. We used to climb it and hang from it, as a result we got scolded by our grandpa most of the time. He kept telling us to not climb it, or else the tree would die. We didn't listen, so over the months or perhaps years, the outer layer of the bark began to wear out, making it have a smooth appearance and texture. The tree, to me at least, holds the good happy days when I was a child and had little to worry about.

Summary: Today we read the Navajo Creation Myth, a myth about how the world came to be.

Reflection: I learned that humans and nature can live together.

Write about a conversation that changed you.

Reflect on your reading of Into the Wild chapters 1–10. Which chapter stood out to you the most, and why? In your response, explain what specifically made this chapter meaningful, interesting, or impactful. You may consider elements such as McCandless’s actions, a key event, a theme, or Krakauer’s storytelling

If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.
