Write about a dream that felt real.

 Prompt Response: When I was younger, I had a dream about beings that looked demonic. Back in my country, the bathroom was separate from the main building. So when one had to use the bathroom, they would go outside the main building where they pitch black in the distance. Then in my dream there was a group of demonic beings standing next to the bathroom. One was completely red with horns, the other was green with a deteriorated face, and the others were black figures floating. The red one was holding the scythe. They all stared at me and I stared back. I felt the breeze of the cold night, the insects sounds, the smell of wet dirt, and my rapid heart rate. I was about 6 so it all felt real and disturbing. Since, I´ve been scared of very dark places.

  Prompt Response: The conversation that change me was a conversation about a growth mindset. In one of my classes, I met a new guy in my life and we gradually became friends. One of our conversations was about his goals and plans in life. I listened while he was passionately talking about how he was going to join the army for mere personal achievement, and what career he was going to take after finishing his military service. I had never met someone who had a personal growth mindset, so it inspired me to apply that mindset to not be ¨ wasted potential ¨. He emphasized how everyone has the potential given by God to become something in life and that there are opportunities for everyone to find. This changed how I view my possible potential of greatness, so I should thrive for a growth mindset.  Summary: We started writing evidence worksheet for two articles.  Reflection:  I will finish finding and writing evidence for the prompt.

Prompt Response:  The chapter that stood out to me was chapter 6. In chapter 6, McCandless met Franz who was a like father figure to him. This chapter is interesting to me because it shows how McCandless was a charismatic person that was able to make meaningful, brief relationships along his journey. This is also the first time that McCandless had someone who cared deeply for him and taught him.  Summary: Today we took a test for chapter 1-10 Reflection:  I finished the test

If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.

Prompt Response:  I would choose gifts, kind notes, and camera to show my love for the people I care about. I love making gifts for others and finding things that make me remember them. I also like writing nice things about them to remind them how special they are to me and because I tend to be shy to say it out aloud. Finally, I would choose a camera to take pictures of them and remember the happy memories. I feel these objects show how I tend to show my love through mostly small actions that make the other person feel special to me and show how considerate and thoughtful I am.  Summary: Today we wrote a poem to someone we care and love about. Reflection:   I finished my poem.
