The last scene forces readers to reinterpret Emily’s entire life. Write about a moment when new information changed your perception of a person or situation. How did that “plot twist” reshape your understanding, the same way Faulkner’s ending reshapes the story?

Prompt Response: I have a friend that always seemed carefree, happy, and successful in her academic life. However, I recently discover that she has been going through a tough situation with her other friends. I saw how hurt she actually was because I thought she seemed like a strong person on the outside, yet she is a sensitive and kind person to others but not to herself.  This change how I viewed her and I got empathizes and understand more about her. Although we don't see each other often, I am glad she was able to talk to me and share what she had been hiding.

Summary: We worked on an Emily assessment in groups.

Reflection: I finished the blog post.

Reflect on your reading of Into the Wild chapters 1–10. Which chapter stood out to you the most, and why? In your response, explain what specifically made this chapter meaningful, interesting, or impactful. You may consider elements such as McCandless’s actions, a key event, a theme, or Krakauer’s storytelling

If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.
