As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

Prompt Response:  The one thing that I enjoyed most about this class is drawing and coloring for different assignments. For example, the comic strip we did for the vocabulary words was something I had fun with and showed my creativity. One thing I connected with were the poems we read and analyzed. I found I related so much with " Birches" by Robert Frost because I reflected on how my childhood was so important to me and how it shaped me. Finally, I believe I need to improve my writing skills.

Reflect on your reading of Into the Wild chapters 1–10. Which chapter stood out to you the most, and why? In your response, explain what specifically made this chapter meaningful, interesting, or impactful. You may consider elements such as McCandless’s actions, a key event, a theme, or Krakauer’s storytelling

If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.
