In “I, Too,” the speaker expresses pride in his identity and his rightful place in America. Reflect on your own life: What aspect of your cultural identity are you most proud of, and why?

Prompt Response: One thing I am proud of in my cultural is the language. I love how Spanish sounds very beautiful, especially in a very flattering accent. Since it comes from Latin, Spanish makes it easier to learn another language like Italian. I love how when you learn a language you get to talk and meet other people and learn about their culture too.

Summary: We worked on an assignment about "We Real Cool" and read the new poem.

Reflection: I finished the questions for "We Real Cool" and started on the assignment for the new poem.
