Choose a vocabulary word from Lesson 10 that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.

Prompt Response: The word that resonates with me personally is deleterious. When I was a kid I chewed a little bit of a poison plant, called the calla lily. The flower looked very beautiful and I think I felt tempered to eat it as a 5 year old. The calla lily causes intense irritation or swelling around the mouth, but its not deadly to humans. I was worried about the deleterious effects of the calla lily that I drank too much water.

Summary: Today we worked on vocabulary lesson 10.

Reflection: I finished exercises 1 and 3 of the vocabulary.

Reflect on your reading of Into the Wild chapters 1–10. Which chapter stood out to you the most, and why? In your response, explain what specifically made this chapter meaningful, interesting, or impactful. You may consider elements such as McCandless’s actions, a key event, a theme, or Krakauer’s storytelling

If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.
