In Chapter 5 of Into the Wild, McCandless is strongly influenced by writers like Jack London, whose stories shape the way he thinks about adventure and wilderness. Has a book, song, musician, or artist ever influenced the way you think about life, goals, or the world around you? Identify the specific book, song, musician, or artist and explain how their ideas or message affected your thinking.

Prompt Response: John Powells composer of How to Train Your Dragon and Justin Hurwitz composer of La La Land are two musicians that have influenced that way I think. I love the way that all the pieces sound because they make me feel calm, excited, and happy to hear very lovely sounds. This has influenced my thoughts because it makes me remember the scenes when the music was played and the beautiful and simplicity of just appreciating moments. So, I just appreciate the big and small moments in my life.

Summary: Today we read chapter 5 and answer some questions on canvas
