People sometimes feel the need to step away from their normal routines or environments in order to better understand themselves. Describe a time when you needed distance from a situation, place, or group of people in order to think more clearly or gain perspective. What did that experience teach you about yourself?

Prompt Response: There was a time in my life where I was having a hard time processing some of certain emotions and I need clarity to understand them. So I hid in my closet, put some calm music, and wrote down what I thought of a situation. I have siblings that depend on me, so I can't really go anywhere without being disturbed. That situation taught me that its okay to find time for yourself.

Summary: Today we read the first chapter of the book.

Reflection: I finished the questions for the chapter.
