Today you worked on creating your Vocabulary Digital Cards in Adobe Express. In one well-developed paragraph, reflect on the assignment by explaining which vocabulary word was easiest for you to understand, which word was most challenging, and how creating your own sentence and selecting an image helped strengthen your understanding of the vocabulary. Use specific examples from your work.

Prompt Response: The vocabulary word culpable was easiest for me to understand because it sound like the word guilty in spanish. The word benign was challenging because it made me think of beginning but it actually means beneficial. Creating my own sentences helped me think about the word more deeply and figure out a way to use it in a situation. Selecting an image helped me visualized what that word meant. For example, the word blithe means carefree and lighthearted, so I choose an image of children playing because they are carefree. I made a sentences that relates to children's carefreeness.

Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

 Promt response: Since we started school, my best friend has a friend which she talks to every time she sees her more than me. Whenever I do the same or show more friendliness to my other friends, she questions why I act that way, so in return, I ask her the same thing but with her friend. I was questioning who her best friend was because since we met we had a strong connection with each other. We both realized that if we get jealous over situations like that, then our bond could break. We don't want that, so we are making our bond even stronger now and trust that our bond is stronger than jealousy. Summary: Today we read and discussed The Jealous Father and worked on a project about it.   Reflection:  The Jealous Father made me think how jealousy can make you do unthinkable actions to people who are close to you. I realize that action with jealousy can break and hurt the people involved.

  Prompt Response:   If I had to write a poem right now, I would write about possibilities in the future. I have many things I like and find interesting, and I can't seem to decide on what I want to commit to. I am afraid I might choose the wrong path that won't take me anywhere. I feel a sense of urgency to figure out what I will do in the future, so I want to try things I am already good at.   Summary: Today we took notes on how to write a rhetorical analysis.
