Prompt Response: As I gathered sources, I noticed that there are many ways that researchers approach the effects of technology on young people. One article explain that the content consumed is the most important when it comes to determining whether it has negative effects on teens mental health. However, most articles I found argue that levels of screen time affect young peoples mental health. These differences showed me that there are many positive and negative effects of technological us, but there are also many ways to approach research studies and it is difficult to come to a conclusion with many perspectives and variables to consider.

Summary: Today we continued researching for more sources on our topic. 

Reflection: I will finish gathering sources before Thursday.

Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

 Promt response: Since we started school, my best friend has a friend which she talks to every time she sees her more than me. Whenever I do the same or show more friendliness to my other friends, she questions why I act that way, so in return, I ask her the same thing but with her friend. I was questioning who her best friend was because since we met we had a strong connection with each other. We both realized that if we get jealous over situations like that, then our bond could break. We don't want that, so we are making our bond even stronger now and trust that our bond is stronger than jealousy. Summary: Today we read and discussed The Jealous Father and worked on a project about it.   Reflection:  The Jealous Father made me think how jealousy can make you do unthinkable actions to people who are close to you. I realize that action with jealousy can break and hurt the people involved.

  Prompt Response:   If I had to write a poem right now, I would write about possibilities in the future. I have many things I like and find interesting, and I can't seem to decide on what I want to commit to. I am afraid I might choose the wrong path that won't take me anywhere. I feel a sense of urgency to figure out what I will do in the future, so I want to try things I am already good at.   Summary: Today we took notes on how to write a rhetorical analysis.
