Prompt Response: My topic for this research project is personal technology effects and implications. This topic is difficult to answer as there are many negative and positive affects to using technology and depends on what perspective we approach the topic that makes it complex. One perspective for this topic is that if technology is overused it can lead to physical and mental health issue such as eye strain or anxiety. Another perspective is that technology can make many connections across the world, yet it can change in-person connections in a negative way. Understanding multiple viewpoints can help you see the complexity or another angle of the topic and narrow down what you think is best. 

Summary: Today we got into groups to do a research  question related to our topic.

Reflection:  We worked as a group and brainstormed.

Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

 Promt response: Since we started school, my best friend has a friend which she talks to every time she sees her more than me. Whenever I do the same or show more friendliness to my other friends, she questions why I act that way, so in return, I ask her the same thing but with her friend. I was questioning who her best friend was because since we met we had a strong connection with each other. We both realized that if we get jealous over situations like that, then our bond could break. We don't want that, so we are making our bond even stronger now and trust that our bond is stronger than jealousy. Summary: Today we read and discussed The Jealous Father and worked on a project about it.   Reflection:  The Jealous Father made me think how jealousy can make you do unthinkable actions to people who are close to you. I realize that action with jealousy can break and hurt the people involved.

  Prompt Response:   If I had to write a poem right now, I would write about possibilities in the future. I have many things I like and find interesting, and I can't seem to decide on what I want to commit to. I am afraid I might choose the wrong path that won't take me anywhere. I feel a sense of urgency to figure out what I will do in the future, so I want to try things I am already good at.   Summary: Today we took notes on how to write a rhetorical analysis.
